Twice a year I do a big clean out of my make up kit. This means baby wiping every single item, clean all bags and replace old products with new. It takes longer than you think but it’s very refreshing when it’s done. Found some new great plastic cases from Mark and Spencer’s ( picture 2)  3 bags for only £ 7.50, bargain. Also Muji has this great hard plastic cases ( picture 3) that I have been making lipsticks palettes into, much more space friendly in the kit bag.

Now I am off to Hackney Wicked Festival.

Both Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden and the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middletown, used Lancome Hynose waterproof mascara on their wedding days and I totally understand why. I tried it yesterday and it stays on through tears, rain and  it’s even impossible to take of  if you haven’t invested in a make up remover for waterproof make up. A waterproof make up remover contains a bit of oil and is divined in two layers that you shake before use. Another impressive product that is not categorized as waterproof one but that stayed on like one is Revlon Grow Luscious eye pencils. Amazing product that is really soft to use and has a great long lasting effect.
