NEARLY NAKED
9:15 pm - 28/11/2012, Linda Andersson, Make Up, Revlon

Last week was a busy week for me, therefore not much blogging. One of my jobs was working with Revlon and Beauty Seen PR on the press launch for the new foundation Nearly Naked. I was their make up artist on site, a gorgeous gallery in W1.

Invited beauty editors and bloggers came to have their foundation matched to their skin, a manicure with the new nude nail colors by Jenny Longworth ( Revlon’s UK Nail ambassador) and a underwear fitting by Tallulah, such a luxury event.

The foundation will be launching in the UK in February 2013 and is a super light product that melts into the skin and restore natural glow and  a fresh complex. The formula of hollow silica pigments creates a soft focus effect and allowing the make up to mimic the skin’s tone and texture, which diminish the look of fine lines and let enough light through so the skin looks natural. It also contain skin-care benefits like Green Tea ( soothes and heals) Black Tea ( rich in antioxidants, vitamin E and C), Oatmeal (soothing, calming and reduces redness) and Jojoba Oil ( moisturizing). It comes in 10 shades and is only £ 8.99

They will also launch a light-wear powder to go with it. It’s super natural and feels like you not wearing powder. It comes in 5 shades and the price is £ 7.99

What do I think ? I was very impressed by this product. I’ ve been wearing it for a week and it truly is super natural and gives a health glow to the skin. I would recommend this to all skin types. Use it on your whole face or only on parts. If you need extra coverage (i.e under eyes or spots) go over with a concealer. Rate : 5/5

Get notice for your skin not your make up.

I FEEL BLUE
11:45 pm - 27/11/2012, Skin care

When I was in Paris last time a bought some products that Lisa Eldrige recommended on her blog.

Bioderma Crealine is a must have in my kit and one of the best and mildest make up remover I have ever used, it’s loved by models and make up artists. New to me was the Bioderma Hydrabio range, which is developed to give extra moisture to a very dehydrated skin. I bought the Hydrabio Serum which I’ve used under my normal creme for extra moisture now when it’s cold outside and I love it. The second product that I bought from the range was Bioderma Hydrobio Riche which is a light but very rich creme, I’ve got this in my kit and use it when someone is dry but when you don’t want a very shine effect like you get from let say Embryolisse.

Another favorite at the moment is La Roche-Posay Lipkar Baume, riche moisturizer for the body that is anti-irritation, anti-scratching and free from paraben and fragrance.

Last I love my leopard printed tweezer from Tweezerman.

You will find all of these products in a French pharmacy and the best of all to a very good price.
