How to get the look:

This is one of the biggest trends this season – Fresh Face.

1) Start with a clean and well moisturized face. Only use concealer where it’s needed. Or if you really want to use a foundation, get a light one like a BB-cream.

2) Put a bit of highlighter on the cheek bones, followed by a tiny but of shading underneath the cheek bones. My favorite is Tom Ford highlight and shading palette 01.

3) On the eyelid I used a brown cream eyeshadow from MAC  called Groundwork, blend this on the eyelid with a blending brush. I love Paula Dorff’s. Brush the eyebrows with a eyebrow gel, I used Lancome.

4) Finish of with a lipbalm on the lip.

FASHIOLISTA + MINERALISSIMA
11:11 am - 03/12/2012, How to do the look, Make Up

The christmas party season is coming up and I thought I would give you some inspiration for an alternative to the classic smokey eye. My own interpretation of one of my favorite looks from this season’s beauty trends, ‘The rainbow eye’  seen at the Roberto Cavalli show. Not only will I give you my first ever ‘Step by Step’ here on the blog, I’ve also got the full make up kit that I’ve been using for a give away. Fashiolista has three kit to be won,  click here for your chance to be the lucky winner.

Mineralissima is a mineral make up brand based in the Netherlands. Their philosophy is to offer quality mineral make up at prices affordable to everyone’s budget. Their line includes foundations, finishing powders, concealers, blushers, bronzers, eyeshadows, eyeliners and lipglosses. All are made with natural ingredients with no added talc, parabens, artificial preservatives or colorants and perfumes.

What do I think? My favorite of the products I’ve used was the eyeshadows. They’ve got great pigments and beautiful colors. Another favorite was the mascara, easy to apply and separates the lashes, also great to layer for a intense voluminous effect.
